Summer Musical TheatreCamp middle school / high school crossover cast presents the musical Little Shop of Horrors. A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years.

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination! One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows, Little Shop Of Horrors the charmingly tongue in cheek comedy has been produced worldwide. It’s entertainment for the entire family.

Performances of Little Shop Of Horrors at the Lewis Auditorium, 14 Granada St., St. Augustine are Friday evening, July 26, Saturday evening, July 27, at 7:30 PM and a Sunday matinee on July 28 at 2:00.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children and can be purchased on the day of the show. Box office will open one hour prior to show and house will open half an hour prior to show.

Lightner After Hours – Gilded Age meets Belle Epoch

This month we celebrate Edgar Degas’ visit to New Orleans in 1873 with cajun faire accompanied by a Cajun Dave of “Nawlin’s Po’ Boy’z” performance. Attendees to this month’s free social event may enter at the Granada Street entrance (with the blue and white awnings, located across from the Corazon Cinema). Visitors wishing to view the Edgar Degas: The Private Impressionist exhibition during our free Lightner After Hours event may purchase a $5 admission ticket in the museum gift shop that evening.
