I highly recommend this house! First, the location is great! We were able to walk to everything within the historic district. Second, Wendy and David were the perfect hosts. They were easy to contact and communicated every step of the way. Third, the house is well equipped with high end furnishings and decorated very nicely. Last, we will definitely come back to this gem of a house. St. Augustine is a great city with tons of places to see and restaurants to visit. The wine tour at San Sebastián was one of our favorite spots.

Wendy and David's home has probably been my favorite Airbnb that I have rented so far. And I have have rented quite a few. The house is stunning, from their artsy decor, to the gargantuan curved TV in the living room, right down to the tiny touches like complimentary toothbrush, mouthwash, sunscreen and more! The location is within walking distance to downtown and and the end of the street there are some fantastic little restaurants. No doubt, when we go back this will be the house we rent.

Nice setting in St. Augustine! It was fun walking around the cobblestone streets and going to all of the cute shops and restaurants that were so close to our location! The house is decorated really cute and there is a neat "chalkboard" that shows things to do and places to eat in the area. Nice, comfortable, and well stocked!!

A perfect spot for a ladies weekend with friends visiting St. Augustine. An amazing location, and we didn't use our cars even once to get anywhere. We walked all weekend to restaurants, museums and shopping. The Bagel Schmagel across the street is our favorite breakfast spot and the wine & cork store below the apartment is lovely for evenings.

This wonderful stay is all about location! Staying right in the historic district of our ancient city, was so nice. We could walk easily to shop, listen to music and to eat. . . and have many choices. The apartment is comfortable, clean, attractively decorated and had lots of thoughtful touches. This beautiful house is located mere minutes walking distance from everything in downtown. Wendy and David thought of everything to make this house feel like your own home. Kcups of coffee in the morning to extra toiletries in the bathroom. I absolutely loved the recommendation book and one of a kind decoration pieces. I never would have expected such an amazing experience for the price and we were able to save money and take advantage of the grill for dinner and not have to eat as much. The bottle of wine was such an unexpected gift and will be a memory for many years to come. I hope to bring my own family back soon to stay here again.

We LOVED this place. The decorations alone are amazing, but there is so much more. This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed. Everything was such good quality from dishes, towels, linens, to the actual furniture. I stay at a lot of Airbnb’s and I have never been completely satisfied with EVERYTHING. The home is prime location within walking distance to everything. The whole weekend we kept finding little special “extras” from the host. I do not want to ruin the surprise of the gifts, so I will leave it at that. I would 100% book this Airbnb if I am ever back in town. Oh! Almost forgot! Wendy is very quick to respond! We vacation'd Memorial Day weekend in St. Augustine and stayed 4 nights at Wendy/David's 3 bedroom house. The house itself turned out to be a key part of the vacation. The house is chock-full of art by local artists - clocks, rugs, night lights, cabinet handles, paintings, toilet handles, tables, chairs, etc. Outside, the mail box, front, and rear entrance have welcome art which also appear to be done by local artists. The location is in a very quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of both uptown and downtown. A wide range of restaurants are within a 20 minute walk, as are key attractions like the Castillo San Marco and the Lightner Museum. We really liked all the conveniences - two large HDTV's (one curved), a higher quality LG clothes washer and dryer, a large refrigerator with a filtered water and ice dispenser, quiet/powerful A/C, lots of closet space, K-cup machine with a more-than-ample stock. Everything is ultra-clean and in tip-top condition. Even the grout between the bathroom tiles is very clean. It's impressive that Wendy/Dave have been so considerate as to supply little things - for example - toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss. They have written up a book with recommendations for various restaurants which are their favorites, like the Maple Street Biscuit company for breakfast which we liked as well. This house is very highly recommended.

Pictures do not do this beautiful property justice. The home is spacious and well designed, and the hosts did everything imaginable to make our stay comfortable. The thoughtful, hospitable touches were seen in every inch of the home—from the book containing recommendations for local dining and activities, to the fully stocked Keurig station, to the tray in the bathroom that contained travel size bathroom essentials we accidentally left at home—they truly thought of everything! We sent a few messages to the hosts during our stay and they were all answered immediately. Additionally, the home’s location is ideal for exploring St. Augustine’s historic downtown. Each day of our 3 night stay was spent walking downtown to enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of this beautiful area.

This is the perfect location if you want to explore St. Augustine. It is in the heart of Old Town with many options for eating, shopping or simply roaming around. Communication with the hosts was excellent. The indoor and outdoor space is fabulous -- we were there on a chilly weekend (for Florida!) so didn't get to use the outdoor balcony. Wendy is upfront about the noise you likely will hear on weekends from a nearby restaurant and passing trams on the street. It is what I would expect for the location, and the home includes several things to help with the street sounds, such as white noise machines and heavy curtains that can be closed. I am extremely intolerant of noise, but did not find it an issue during my visit.

We had a great time at Wendy and Dave’s! The location could not be better. It’s just steps to restaurants, bars with live music and tourist attractions. There is some noise at night so light sleepers might have a little trouble sleeping but everyone in our crew slept just fine. The unit is very spacious and a LOT of time and care was put into making the place extra cute and hospitable for guests. Even the pull out couch was great to sleep on (the first time I ever said that !). It’s also super clean. St Augustine is fantastic and Dave &Wendy’s is a perfect spot to explore from.

The photos on the website don't do justice to the house. It's roomy, well appointed, comfortable, and anything you could need is on hand. The location is not just near everything, it is in the middle of everything. We didn't have to go more than 100 yards from the house to dine at a different incredible restaurants. The owners are concerned about noise from the street below and have white noise machines on hand if needed, but the house was very quiet and we slept without disturbance every night. The decor is very cheery and upbeat, the furniture comfortable and everything is in perfect working order. This house is simply put a great value.

This was our first visit to St Augustine. We were tossed between getting a hotel room vs Airbnb. We are very happy we chose this property. The location was fantastic for getting about the streets of St Augustine. The property is tucked above a business in the center of town. The home is wonderful, clean and well maintained. The master bedroom sits up in a loft and is a delightful getaway. The owners made our visit very easy-checking in on us before, during and after our stay. We requested recommendations for dining and we were not disappointed. Our favorite was Collage.....just a few steps away. We also took advantage of the owners available daily pass at the Serenata Beach Club. While it cost $50, it allowed us to be at a first class facility on the St Augustine beaches. It's was a wonderful second day for us as well! If you have a chance check out this property while in St Augustine!!!!! Thank you Wendy & David for making your property available to us!

The wine shop underneath also provides for a nice afternoon visit. It was great to be able to walk out the front door and be in the middle of all the shops and restaurants of Old St Augustine. We usually ended our days with cocktail hour and some solid people watching from the elevated porch. Fun times!

Great location! Easy walking everywhere in the historic district. The balcony was a perfect spot to see all the fun going on up and down the street! The apartment is beautiful with an open air floor plan. Lots of choices in the area for good food and entertainment! Did I mention how easy it is to walk everywhere? We never used our car the whole time we were there! Love this place! We've never been to St Augustine before. We've never been to a more fun and entertaining historical city! Wendy and David are extremely helpful in every aspect, and easily reachable. The place is spotless and has everything you may need. Within close walking distance of St. George Street with all the shops; The Floridian, a great restaurant for dinner and The Maple Biscuit Company, a tasty breakfast spot. I lived in St Augustine for quite a few years but now reside in San Diego....this place is a gem, folks! And I can't speak highly enough about the proprietors! The Saint Augustine Guest House is so charming, welcoming and we did not want to leave. Wendy and David have thought of everything, the decor, art and personal touches are amazing. We were on winter break with children on their college winter break (Go Gators!) and they had all the room they needed to get ready and relax. The Balcony was perfect for the nights of lights! We had the best view of people strolling the area and the trolleys on their Christmas tours, the balcony is even lit up for the holidays. We were able to enjoy our coffee (thank you for all the choices!) each morning on the balcony while everyone got ready. The location is so ideal we were able to just walk around the shops while we planned our day. The photos of the Guest House are great and it is even better in person with all the personal touches and local art work. This is the BEST trip we have ever had to Saint Augustine, Thank you Wendy and David for sharing your beautiful Guest House with us!

We stayed at this amazing place in the middle of January and loved it. It is a perfect location not more than a 2-5 minute walk from pretty much every restaurant or historic site in the old district. We stayed with our 4 elementary age kids, and they loved it too. It was near plenty of nightlife for convenient dinners and going out but it did not disturb the kids or us at all during our stay. In fact, we loved it because my wife and I could wine taste downstairs while the kids were right upstairs enjoying the house. It was also a perfect setting to sit on the large wraparound porch and enjoy some drinks while we watched folks strolling the street and the trolleys rolling by still playing Christmas music. Lastly, Wendy and David were great. Wendy kept in touch to make sure we were all set with the parking and access before we showed up, and was always free to respond to any questions we had before and while we were there. I can't imagine a better place for a couple or family to stay where you can leave your car in St Augustine for the weekend and not get back into it until it was time to leave.

It was the best location we could hope for, so close to everything! You could walk to almost anywhere in the city. The house was beautiful with all to making of "home". Wendy and David certainly know how to stock a place for visitors. There was even a panini maker. Love the little touches throughout the home. We were constantly finding new "knickknacks" everywhere, on the walls, on shelves, even on the floor. Beds were very comfortable and we had no trouble with sound. On Friday night we did use the "Ocean Sounds" on the noise machine and we slept great. Can't say enough good things about this place and we hope to visit again soon.

This house is a great one of a kind gem located right in the middle of Old Town St. Augustine. The second/third floor layout offers a unique, interesting, and spacious floor plan. The kitchen is nicely equipped for meal preparation, and for those times when you are not out enjoying the many activities the area provides there are large screen TV’s to keep you entertained. The in unit washer and dryer are handy if you pack light and need to do laundry while on vacation. The second floor balcony is a great place to relax just above Hypolita St., one of the Old Town’s narrow streets. Wendy and David Goldstein have a great rental in a wonderful location. They are also great hosts, thinking of so many details to make their guests comfortable. When returning to St. Augustine we’ll definitely look for this house again.

We are repeat visitors to Wendy and David's place and just can't emphasize enough how wonderful their place is. The location is beyond perfect and you have everything you may need while there. All the comforts of home but you are on vacation! If you have a car, you have a reserved parking spot, which is an absolute gift in downtown St Augustine. You do not have to use your car if you so choose because you are so close to everything downtown. Wendy and David immediately respond if you have any questions and I never tire of looking at the cool decor, finding something new each time. The fact that it is spotless is just another bonus. I am a clean freak and this place exceeds my standards! Hands down THE best place you will find in St. Augustine!

This was our first trip to Saint Augustine and we loved it. The city was wonderful. This rental couldn't have been better. It's located two (short) blocks off St.George Street, the street with all the shops and dining places. We took the orange/green 'hop on-hop off' shuttle to just about everywhere. Sometimes we just walked where we were going. There's a lot to see and walking is the way to see it. The rental was great. Very spacious and very charming. The owners really took a lot of time to make your stay comfortable. All the rooms were VERY large. They provided information books on the whole area. They provided games to keep the children occupied. The kitchen was fully stocked, ample linens were provided, and (best of all) it was very clean. After a couple of days, we started to think of it as 'home'. You won't be sorry if you rent this unit. We really can't think of one negative thing to say about it. WE LOVED IT! One more thing: our deposit was refunded within a two days of check out.

The St. Augustine guesthouse was just perfect. Spacious, clean, whimsical with so many small touches that made the stay special for my 45th birthday weeekend!! We all loved it and said we can not wait to come back and stay here again! Wendy & David are also awesome hosts! I must have messaged Wendy 3 or 4 times just to ask where she purchased art and decor pieces that were in the house to see if I could buy them in town, and had to message them to change my deposit return info. and their replies were so friendly and they replied right away!! They really treated us very well! The house has EVERYTHING needed for a fun stay! We sat on the porch and people watched for hours, played games they provided, enjoyed the chocolates that welcomed us and loved all the recommended places that Wendy gave me!! People watching from the balcony overlooking the historic street below was the highlight of our trip. After a long day of taking in the sights we would “wine” down with a drink on the balcony and watch the people go by. Even better, when we ran low on libations there was a wine shop immediately downstairs. Restaurants for breakfast through dinner are also just a stones throw away. Everything was taken care of at the house and we did not need to contact the owners for a thing. That being said they reached out to us during our stay just to make sure everything was OK and to ask if we needed anything. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Saint Augustine.

We stayed here for a three day weekend, the location could not have been better. The car stayed parked the entire time! David and Wendy are terrific in their response times. Also, refunding your deposit. I have had to wait up to two weeks. We left Monday, had the refund notification Tuesday. Their directions to your parking spot were exact. You just had to take it on faith that it is OK to drive on what looks to be a pedestrian walkway. The property is located above the Gifted Cork, a small wine/gift shop. A handy place to pick up a bottle or two and the owners were extremely knowledgeable and willing to share and suggest. The property was spacious and well equipped, Everyone reported their bed was comfortable. During the day and evening you could hear street noise and music BUT this was not an issue and no one complained about it disturbing their sleep. The wrap around porch was an enjoyable place to sit, watch and listen. Especially if there was a breeze. St George street was only 1.5 blocks away. We walked almost every where. The chocolate factory, winery and distillery were the exceptions. The Fort is a very walkable distance. Would definitely consider staying here again, the property has so many positives and the owners are very responsive! Would love to try their other property, if only it was a bit closer. Again, Loved the property!

Wendy & David put a lot of thought into decorating this house. The furniture and accessories were so whimsical and delightful. Loved the collection of local art. Our entire family fell in love with this place as soon as we stepped inside. We were provided everything we could possibly need and more -- our morning coffee and tea, toiletries, umbrellas for our one day of drizzle, and even vinyl records for our pleasure. It is perfectly located near downtown in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. We were able to easily walk to the Nights of Lights Festival and the St. Augustine Arts & Crafts Festival without having to deal with the overwhelming traffic and limited parking at this time of year. We parked our car when we arrived and never used it again until we departed. We had such a wonderful time and wish we could rate this guest house with more than 5 stars!

Fantastic location with amazing balcony and stocked for comfort! While it may be a bit "noisy" on some nights - this is the pace to stay if you want to be in the heart of St. Augustine. Steps from Flagler College, St. George Street and the Fort with a convenient parking space just outside the door. Owners have thought of everything and even labeled light switches (which you think isn't important until you rent a home without labels!!). Already planning next year's trip and will be staying again!

Awesome Location and Lots of Charm! Our stay in St. Augustine was brief, but we are already making plans for a return trip and would love to stay in this Guest House again. The location could not have been better, having parking across the street is hugely valuable, and the size of the Guest House was perfect for us - maybe even too big, but very comfortable! The noise outside on Friday and Saturday was loud, but we are used to Downtown living and had no problem sleeping. The accommodations were top notch and the Guest House had everything we needed, plus some, for our stay. Wendy and David were very responsive and flexible to our needs. There were so many parts of St. Augustine that we did not have time to see and I honestly cannot wait for our return trip.

The house is adorable, clean and so comfortable. Four of us stayed here for our girls weekend and we had more than enough space.
