The St. Augustine Guest Houses
We’re very excited to be opening a new guest house and will be welcoming guests in August 2021 and we’ll be back to two guest houses again.
In March of 2020, we downsized to one house after 4 great years on Hypolita Street in the Historic District. We had hundreds of happy guests and over 200 5-star reviews and it was that house that made our vacation destination, feel like home.
Shortly after we had the downtown guest house in the historic area we found another house, the one we have now. We chose this house which is in the perfect location to be close to everything and just far enough away in a quiet neighborhood where we could get away from it all. We found that guests love not only this 3BR house, but they also love the neighborhood as well. The house is fun and comfortable with new furniture, artsy decor, comfortable beds, and we are decorating it so that you will feel the warmth as soon as you walk in the door. We’ll be posting some new photos as we are adding new things all the time including the most amazing uplighting in the front, side, and backyard. We just added a fire pit and with help from a local landscaping company upgraded the property front and back and wait until you see our new sea turtle fence.
The Downtown Guest House on Loring
The house is new for the area and it has been recently updated with the finest appointments — travertine floors, new carpet, new beds, furniture, artwork granite, and quartz countertops, and LED lighting. We have a private fenced-in backyard too with a BBQ for outdoor grilling.
The house boasts high ceilings throughout, inset tray ceilings in living and dining areas, an open kitchen, travertine floors, rounded walls & archways, & is tucked away on a private shaded street. corner lot with side entry garage. Parking for two cars off-street is included too.
The location is perfect. We’re downtown on a tree-lined, secret street just a few minutes walk from downtown and all the sights and so close to the Bayfront and Francis Field. The guest house is the perfect spot for enjoying all that St. Augustine has to offer. We’re also close to the Village Inn where every Wednesday is Free Pie Wednesday.
The New Uptown Guest House – Sanchez Suites
We have been looking every day for a year to find the perfect house in the perfect location to fit our needs for a great vacation rental experience. The new one, we call Sanchez Suites is a few blocks away, close to the Fountain of Youth. What we really like about this house is that it has two master suites, separated by an amazing screened-in porch which allows couples or friends who are traveling together to have their own space. Wendy is already planning the furniture and David is planning to uplight the most amazing tree and create a warm and welcome space on the porch. The house is only 12 years old and for St. Augustine, that is as new as it gets!
We Love St. Augustine, FL
St. Augustine’s rich heritage makes the city and its surroundings a unique getaway for visitors. Founded in September 1565 by Don Pedro Menendez de Aviles of Spain, St. Augustine is the longest continually inhabited European-founded city in the United States – more commonly called the “Nation’s Oldest City.” Visit St. Augustine and dive into more than four centuries of history that owes much to the Spanish and English, to Greeks and Native Americans, and African Americans. Stroll the narrow lanes, enter the many museums, visit landmarks such as Castillo de San Marcos, Ponce de Leon’s “Fountain of Youth,” and the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse. St. Augustine – a place for history buffs and everyone else.
