Pumpkin Patch

The Pumpkins are coming! The Pumpkin Patch is opening on Saturday, October 5. 2019. The hours of the Pumpkin Patch are Monday – Friday 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. and weekends 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. There are mini-pumpkins, pie pumpkins and larger pumpkins of all sizes. The Pumpkin Patch supports the local outreach ministries of Shores United Methodist church. We will be selling pumpkins from October 5 to Halloween. FUNDRAISING EVENT – BAHAMAS R AND R
RAISNG FUNDS TO ‘RESTORE AND REBUILD’ THE ABACOS
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2nd at 6:30 PM

Please join us for a worthy cause, as we help to raise funds for the Bahamian Islands tragically affected by Hurricane Dorian.

This three-hour event will feature:
~ Bahamian favorites by 5 amazing chefs!
~ Featured ‘island’ cocktails
~ Live cooking demos on locally-sourced Urban Asado Grills
~ Specially paired wine for each featured Chef’s creative, foodie collaboration

Event proceeds to benefit the: Errol Thurston Bahamas Hurricane Relief Fund and Mercy Chefs

Ticket Price: $89 per person (inclusive of food/wine pairings)

4th Annual Davidson Cares Clay Day

The 4th Annual Davidson Cares Clay Day is set for Thursday, October 24, at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports. Clay Day includes two sport shooting events, beginner skeet and sporting clay. Individuals and teams from beginner to expert levels are invited to participate. The event also features a Beretta Shotgun Raffle, TPC Chalet Raffle and Cooler & Cocktail Raffle. All proceeds from the event and raffles go directly to St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS), Investing in Kids! (INK!) and Builders Care. 21st Crescent Beach Challenge

This high-energy, family-organized fundraiser supports those affected by leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood-related cancers. The challenge features 1K and 5K runs, several ocean events including swimming, kayaking, and surfing, two combined “Kahuna” events, and a four-person surfboard relay. Whew! It’s sure to be an exciting day on the sand – all for a great cause. The challenge is in its 21st year. Registration is $40 per person and includes a t-shirt.
