The special event features bestselling author and subject of an upcoming Hollywood film, Cara Brookins. Brookins left a bad relationship with her four kids and together, they built a 3500 square foot house – with lots of help from YouTube ‘How To’ videos!  She documented their experiences in the bestselling book, “Rise: How a House Built a Family,” which was featured on the TODAY Show and on news and lifestyle programs internationally – ultimately getting billions of views worldwide!

It’s a story of building not just a house, but a better life, a stronger family, and a transformed future. She Is Fierce! is proud to bring Women’s Wednesday back to the glamorous Treasury on the Plaza in downtown St. Augustine.

Women’s Wednesdays is presented by Bozard Ford Lincoln, a local company with women in critical leadership positions and more than 30 women on their staff.  The networking hour is being hosted by Flagler Health+ and will feature stylist makeovers, free headshots, wellness assessments and support, Photo Booths, connection games, a brand new ‘Create Space,’ shopping with local women-owned businesses and lots more! Women-owned and women-centered businesses and non-profits are a feature of this year’s series, with some special surprises in store for women in attendance.
