St. Augustine Orchestra Season Premiere

The St. Augustine Orchestra (SAO) will kick off its 57th season with a performance of ‘Symphonic Triptych’ on October 12th.
A triptych is a set of three associated musical, literary or artistic works intended to be appreciated together. Maestro Scott Gregg has chosen three European and Scandinavian composers of the Romantic and Victorian era: Antonin Dvorak, Gioachino Rossini and Jean Sibelius. The Orchestra will play Dvorak’s Symphony #8 in G Major; Simiramide Overture by Rossini and Valse Triste by Sibelius.
