Looking for a way to help out the environment and make our oceans a little cleaner? Good news! The Friends of A1A Scenic and Historic Coastal Byway, in partnership with the Ocean Conservancy, are hosting a beach cleanup to celebrate International Coastal Cleanup Day. This day is a global initiative designed to raise awareness regarding the importance of maintaining clean shores. It is also the world’s largest single-day volunteer effort to remove trash from our beaches, waterways, lakes, rivers and parks. So make sure to come out and help make our world a little cleaner, just don’t forget to pack your sunscreen and a cold bottle of water!
