Castillo de San Marcos’ Birthday
Undoubtedly the most notable landmark in the entire city of St. Augustine, the Castillo de San Marcos, also known as just “The Fort” by many locals, is over three centuries old. This year, the landmark will be around 324 years old so in celebration, admission to the site is free on the selected day. Bring a picnic, your family, and your pets and enjoy the great view of downtown St. Augustine, the historic landmark, and the pretty water flowing underneath the Bridge of Lions. All ages are welcome so come and enjoy!
