DESCRIPTION:The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum and Flagler College look forward to our bi-annual exhibition of work by B.F.A. and B.A. candidates in the Department of Visual Art. The exhibition will be on view Tuesday\, April 27 through Friday\, April 30\, and Monday\, May 3 from 10am until 4pm. Visitors from outside of the Flagler community can schedule their appointment via Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/exhibition-viewing-bfa-ba-senior-portfolio-tickets-149313305115). \nIncluded in this semester’s exhibition will be video\, painting\, drawing\, sculpture\, and textiles by BFA candidates Kate Barker\, Pia Barlotta\, Justin Cottrell\, Allison Davis\, Amanda Marable\, and Danielle Rohter\, and BA candidates Jenny Barnes\, Laura Mackie\, Kate Gummere\, and Johanna Mulvihill.

Final tour begins at 3 pm.\nPark capacity is significantly reduced due to COVID —Admission will be limited\nMasks recommended / Social distancing required \nDid you know?\nGracia Real de Santa Teresa de Mose\, or Fort Mose\, was the destination of the original Underground Railroad\, running south. It was home to the first legally sanctioned free Black community in North America! \nAs you step onto the Freedom Trail\, you enter the year 1738. You’re drawn into a dangerous world where freedom seekers flee from enslavement on English plantations\, hoping to live as free men\, women\, and children at Fort Mose. \nThe Flight to Freedom event is open to the general public at no cost. Donations and Memberships are gratefully accepted. \nPlease visit www.fortmose.org often for event updates.  \nFlight to Freedom is supported in part by a Visitor Experience grant from the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council and by a State of the Arts Grant made possible by the St. Johns Cultural Council\, with invaluable assistance from  Castillo de San Marcos and St. Augustine Garrison.
