Share two or three of your polished poems or bust out some fresh ink from your notebook during Saint Augustine\, Florida’s longest running open mic poetry event. Invite a friend or two or three to view the livestream on FB Live to cheer you on. Love\, or our aversion to it\, is in the air and all are invited to write words to that theme. The writing prompt is just a suggestion\, and you are free to follow it or not. What is important \, is that we get to know you and your artistic words. \nNOTE: At 3:00 pm EST on Sunday\, JAN 31\, the FB Live feed for this reading will appear on the following site:\nhttps://www.facebook.com/ancientcitypoets \nPoets and poetry fans have been gathering for free open mic poetry reading since August of 2009. He is currently teaching Art History at the Flagler College ACE program.

SUMMARY:Tolomato Cemetery Guided Tour
DESCRIPTION:The historic Tolomato Cemetery hosts guided tours of the grounds on the third Saturday of every month from 11 am to 3 pm. The grounds were in use as a cemetery from the 18th century until 1864 and is the final resting place to some 1\,000 St. Augustinians. \nThis guided tour encourages attendees to come and learn about the rich history of the cemetery\, and those from an array of cultures who rest there. Some including Spanish\, Cuban\, Greek\, Minorcan\, African\, Irish\, and Haitian. This event is an opportunity to learn about the true stories of the people\, as well as the tales of our oldest city. \nAdmission is free. \n

DESCRIPTION:On the third Saturday of every month\, the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve hosts a guided walking tour at Guana South Beach from 9 to 11 am.  This walking tour is a two-hour long hike and participants will learn about the various species of life that call the area home. \nAfter the tour\, guests can return to the visitor center\, continue to hike the nearby trails or go to the beach. \nAdmission is free\, but parking is $3 \nPlease note\, you must register for a spot in the tour on their website.

So the thought arose is that this presentation is a collection of painted concertos\, or Concerti Dipinto. \nDavid Ouellette received his Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Arts in Painting from Wayne State University in Detroit\, Michigan. He taught at the University of Michigan-Dearborn\, while exhibiting in the metropolitan Detroit area. David Ouellette moved to St. Augustine in 1981\, and continued his career as an artist and professor of Fine Art at the Florida School of the Arts through his twenty-six year tenure. He is currently teaching Art History at the Flagler College ACE program.
