The race starts at 9 a.m. Pre-race opens at 8:30 a.m. All proceeds will be donated to Fur Sisters – Furever Urs Rescue. \nTrailMark is partnering with JTF Racing\, a professional\, full service race timing and race organizing company\, for the Conquer the Trails 5K. \nThe 5K will start and finish near the TrailMark Welcome Center\, winding through the community’s paved trails along the way. The family-friendly event is open to the public. \nTrailMark is a unique community in St. Johns County\, combining the best of neighborhood living with a nature-first approach\, with miles of trails\, parkland\, wetlands and oak groves. \nFur Sisters – Furever Urs Rescue is a nonprofit organization that saves dogs from overcrowded shelters and other urgent situations. The volunteer-run\, foster-based rescue provides all veterinary care and everything needed to care for the dog until adopted. Fur Sisters has found wonderful forever homes for more than 1\,000 dogs since the rescue was founded in 2016. \nVisit conquerthetrails.org to register for the 5K. Entry fees are $25 for the first 50 to register\, $30 for adults\, $20 for children 12 and under\, and $35 on race day. Race packets may be picked up at the TrailMark Welcome Center beginning at 8 a.m. on race day. \nTrailMark is located five miles west of the I-95/International Golf Parkway exit #323 on Pacetti Road. This exhibition features a selection of her figure studies and portraits done in pastels\, charcoal and oil paints. \nThis exhibit will take place at the St. Augustine Art Association located at 22 Marine Street in historic downtown. The STAAA Permanent Collection Exhibit Figure Studies can be viewed in person and online at www.staaa.org. DESCRIPTION:On the first Saturday of every month\, from 9-11am\, the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTMNERR) hosts a Guided Exploration Hike\, where attendees can learn about the cultural history of the Guana Peninsula\, as well as the natural ecosystem of the Reserve. \nA GTM naturalist will lead the hike and teach about the peninsula’s 5\,000 years of human history\, including how native peoples made use of the estuarine resources\, what European plantation life was like\, and current efforts to save those resources. \nThe hike is free\, but there is a $3 per vehicle parking fee at the reserve. \nPlease call (904) 823-4500 or visit here to reserve a spot on the tour. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Art Galleries of Saint Augustine founded and sponsors the award-winning First Friday Art Walk event on the first Friday of every month. Galleries open their doors from 5-9pm\, offering new art exhibits and lively receptions to the public. Start your free self-guided tour at any of the Art Galleries of Saint Augustine galleries. Most galleries are within close walking distance to each other; some are just a short ride away. Hop aboard the free Art Walk trains and trolleys that run throughout downtown. \nFeast on great arts & eats and the sounds of live music—rain or shine! For the late-nighters\, the celebration continues with “after parties” at area clubs and restaurants. Parking locations are shown on the map. Parking after 5pm is free except at the Historic Parking Garage. \nFrom 6-9pm\, Ripley’s Red Sightseeing Trains and The Old Town Trolleys provide free transportation during the Art Walk. The shuttles run every 20-30 minutes on a continuous loop (see map)\, allowing easy access to most of the downtown member galleries.
