DESCRIPTION:Celebrating its 10th anniversary on March 14-15\, 2020\, the award-winning St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival is recognized by audiences\, bands\, athletes\, clans\, and vendors\, for its uniqueness and superior quality as one of the best in the U.S. This two-day event\, which attracts an average crowd of 15\,000 each year (to a town of 14\,000)\, featuring top international touring Celtic bands like Albannach\, The Dublin City Ramblers\, Emmet Cahill\, Jamison\, Seven Nations\, Steel City Rovers\, and Syr. \nGeneral admission tickets are only $10 until March 10 then the price increases to $15. \n\nWhiskey Tasting Event on Friday\, March 13 from 7-9pm\n(limited seating\, tickets sold separately)\nSt. Patrick Parade on Saturday March 14 at 10am Downtown\nCeltic Festival on Saturday March 14 from 10am-10pm AND Sunday\, March 15 from 10am-7pm on Francis Field\nThe St. Augustine Highland Games Saturday & Sunday begin @ 10am and live musical performances start @ noon.\n\nThe St. Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival is produced by Romanza – St. Augustine\, Inc. and is funded in part by the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council\, by the State of Florida\, Department of State\, Division of Cultural\, Florida Council on Arts and Culture\, and by Visit Florida.

SUMMARY:Rhythm for the River
DESCRIPTION:Head out to Dog Rose Brewing Company for a day of music for a good cause. This fundraiser will benefit the Matanzas Riverkeeper\, an organization dedicated to ensuring that the Matanzas River and its tributaries remain clean and healthy through our commitment to drinkable\, fishable\, and swimmable water. Rhythm for the River will feature live music by some of the best of the local music scene – including Snake Blood Remedy\, the Sand Fleas\, Aslyn and the Naysayers\, and the experimental folk band and earth activists Holy River (formerly known as Lobo Marino). You’ll also get to enjoy raffles\, donation chair massage\, local art\, food trucks\, drinks\, and lots more! \nCurrent Riverkeeper since 2017\, Jen Lomberk is a Florida native and licensed attorney devoted to protecting Florida’s natural wonders. Jen Lomberk will speak about the Riverkeepers’ mission. This event aims to bring the community together in a fun\, creative\, and educational way for a good cause. \nA $5-$30 donation is suggested.
