SUMMARY:FIS Tour de Cure for American Diabetes Association
DESCRIPTION:The American Diabetes Association\, (ADA) will hold its annual FIS Tour de Cure on Saturday\, December 1\, 2018. Taking place at World Golf Village in St. Augustine\, Florida\, the event is expected to be bigger and better than ever\, replete with a holiday theme. Tour de Cure seeks to raise funds and awareness for diabetes: America’s #1 chronic health crisis. People of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in the combined event – whether a 12\, 40 or 60-mile Cycle or a 5K Run/Walk. Registration remains open through December 1. Participants can register for $30 through November 31. The fee will be raised to $35 for participants registering day-of on December 1. Fundraising minimums for the ride are $200 and $100 for the Run / Walk. All proceeds from the Tour de Cure benefit the American Diabetes Association (ADA)\, which protects the rights of people with diabetes\, and funds critical research to find a cure.

His father\, Louisiana Hall of Famer guitarist of “The Boogie Kings\,” nurtured Marc’s musical gifts at an early age\, and the vibrant Lafayette\, Louisiana music scene gave Marc the opportunity to practice his craft consistently from childhood through early adulthood. He still lives in Louisiana today. \nAfter releasing a successful independent EP at age 20\, Marc signed a record deal with Island Records. Marc’s song “Home” was successful on radio and catapulted him onto the national touring stage. His music has been placed in may TV shows and movies. Marc released multiple albums with major labels over the next 10 years\, but has recently returned to his independent roots. DESCRIPTION:Watch the beloved Nights of Lights take to the water when boats and ships sail past the St. Augustine Bayfront to show off their dazzling light displays. From sailboats to trawlers\, from yachts to shrimp boats\, the Regatta of Lights participants compete for awards for the best theme\, most colorful\, best in class and best overall. Hosted by the St. Augustine Yacht Club\, it’s a dazzling sight for spectators along the bayfront between the Bridge of Lions and the Castillo de San Marcos.
