DESCRIPTION:Northeast Florida’s Amelia Island’s tradition of transforming downtown Fernandina Beach into a festive Victorian Christmas village will take place once again this year! This free event takes visitors back in time to experience Charles Dickens’ early Victorian era Britain\, with themed characters and entertainers\, festive lights and holiday décor\, period vendors\, exciting seasonal entertainment\, a petting zoo and tastes of the holidays. This year\, they will be introducing a brand new event\, the Dickens Illuminated Procession will be a unique walking lantern parade of glowing holiday cheer. Other returning annual favorites include photos with St. Nick\, Tiny Tim’s Kids Zone\, the adults-only Dickens After Dark\, and the Christmas Wish booth. Downtown restaurants\, shops\, art galleries\, and other local businesses will be participating\, along with period street vendors selling handmade crafts and special holiday treats. Don’t miss out on this festive event and get ready to celebrate the season!

SUMMARY:Every Christmas Story Ever Told
DESCRIPTION:Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some!) is a play made up of three actors who decide to forgo the Charles Dickens classic and perform\, well\, every Christmas story ever told. Enjoy Christmas tradition from all over the globe as well as renditions of every Christmas carol ever sung. Performances are at 7:30pm on Thursdays\, Fridays\, and Saturdays\, and at 2pm on Sundays. There will be no shows on Thanksgiving Day or the following Friday. \nRegular admission tickets are $27. Tickets are $17 for the Preview Night showing on Thursday\, November 21.
