For lovers of local art and culture\, the First Friday Artwalk is a great way to celebrate both the start of a new month and the end of a long week. Spend your time hopping from gallery to gallery in the downtown area or jump on a complimentary shuttle and check out the galleries on the beach. \nThe monthly event takes place from 5 to 9pm\, rain or shine\, throughout historic downtown and even over the Bridge of Lions onto Anastasia Island and the beach. Galleries will put out refreshments\, artists will be on hand to talk about their work\, even musicians will fill the air with music. DESCRIPTION:International pianist\, Maria Dolores Gaitán is coming to perform for a weekend at The Cultural Center in Ponte Vedra Beach. Gaitán will be performing two concerts as well as hosting workshops for attendees to participate in on the first weekend of December.\nThe concerts will be held Thursday and Friday evening\, December 5-6 and the workshops will be held on Saturday\, December 7 and will include 6 one-hour-long sessions. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear beautiful music\, and be taught by an internationally acclaimed pianist\, so don’t miss out!\n\nTickets for the concerts are $20 for adults\, kids under the age of 10 get in for free.\nTickets for the workshops are $75 per session.\nAll proceeds from this event will benefit the Cultural Center’s educational and cultural programming and project\, La Florida\, the interactive digital archive of the Americas.

DESCRIPTION:The Castillo’s annual 1740 Siege Night event\, “Enemy at the Gates\,” is back again for another spectacular evening.  This special tour includes live history demonstrations presenting The Fort as it would have been under the 1740 British siege many years ago. The tours will give visitors a look inside different stations of the monument and reenactors will be demonstrating the preparation that soldiers took as they prepared for the attack by British General\, James Oglethorpe. Don’t miss out on this chance to relive history! \nAdmission to this event is $15 for adults ages 16 and older\, and $5 for children ages 5-15.

DESCRIPTION:Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some!) is a play made up of three actors who decide to forgo the Charles Dickens classic and perform\, well\, every Christmas story ever told. Enjoy Christmas tradition from all over the globe as well as renditions of every Christmas carol ever sung. Performances are at 7:30pm on Thursdays\, Fridays\, and Saturdays\, and at 2pm on Sundays. There will be no shows on Thanksgiving Day or the following Friday. \nRegular admission tickets are $27. Tickets are $17 for the Preview Night showing on Thursday\, November 21.
