DESCRIPTION:V Pizza Mandarin and V for Victory\, a non-profit organization based in Jacksonville that helps local families battling cancer\, will host a Home Brew Competition Sunday\, Nov. 4th at V Pizza located at 12601 San Jose Blvd. Six local breweries including Dog Rose Brewing Co.\, Hyperion Brewing Co\, Fishweir Brewing Co.\, Legacy Ale Works\, Tabula Rasa Brewing\, and Bog Brewing Co. In addition\, over twenty home brewers will have their finest brews for sampling. Multiple categories for winners\, one winner wins the opportunity to brew at Veterans United Craft Brewery. There will be live music\, vendors\, V Pizza specials and Veterans United specials along with award-winning wings.\n$10 buys you a commemorative V for Victory cup for endless sampling. This is a fun family-friendly event so bring the kids to play out back on the patio on our new playground featuring Jacksonville’s only skateboard swing!

Hall\, Jr.\, and William A. Miles\, Jr. Based on the iconic novel by George Orwell\, 1984 is a provocative adaptation of one of the most prescient works of literature of the last century. \nFor those who read Orwell’s novel in school\, the society portrayed was absolutely unbelievable. However\, today one wonders if it might not be possible after all…if we are not vigilant and aware. \nDirector Margaret Kaler has assembled a powerful cast to bring to life this tale of the omni-present Big Brother. They are: Jon Beshara\, Kathryn Masters\, Jennifer Latka\, Guy Tillis\, Katie Timoney\, Natalie Beltrami\, Shari Little\, David Williams\, and Shelby Roy. \nThe production will have six performances over two weekends on October 26\, 27\, 28 and November 2\, 3\, 4 at the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center at 102 ML King Ave.\, downtown St. Augustine.
