SUMMARY:5th Annual Bikini Race
DESCRIPTION:St. Augustine Sailing Sisters (SASS) is a local group of sailing women who encourage each other to improve themselves and others in our community. SASS celebrates 5 years in 2020 and will hold their 5th annual SASS Bikini Race on August 1\, open to female sailing teams. \nFriday\, July 31\, 5-8pm – Zoom Launch Party (tentative)\nWe are working out the details of an interactive ZOOM launch party!!  Certainly a first\, so check back for details.  Register to race and don’t miss the chance to SEE everyone on ZOOM on Friday\, July 31 at 5:00pm. Details on the ZOOM login will be posted when they are available!  Can’t wait! \nSaturday\, August 1\, 9:30-10:30am – Skipper’s Meeting\nSt. Augustine Yacht Club. 442 Ocean Vista Ave. View on Map \n\nSkipper +1 in attendance for racing rules\nRegister in person if you have not registered\nRace requirement: Woman at the helm for the duration of the race 50% or more female crew on board timing penalty for men on board\nPickup registration packet\nPickup t-shirts orders for your crew\nLimited inventory of T-shirts will be available for sale ($20/ea)\n\nSaturday\, August 1\, 1pm – Start of Race\nIntracoastal Waterway. Marker 55. View on Map \n\nVisit Kingfish Grill and watch racers depart Camachee Cove for the starting line!\nThe best viewing location of the starting line for the race is on the north side of the Francis and Mary Usina Bridge\, aka the Vilano Bridge.\nKingfish Grill offers a great viewing location for the afternoon where you can enjoy a full menu of food and drinks for the entire duration of the race.  \nAwards and reception immediately following the race at St. Augustine Yacht Club.\n\nSaturday\, August 1\, 5pm – Awards and Reception\nSt. Augustine Yacht Club. 442 Ocean Vista Ave. View on Map \n\nDinner menu items will be available for purchase\nCash bar\nAwards for All Female Crew and Mixed Crew\nLimited inventory of T-shirts will be available for sale ($20/ea)
