IT WILL NOW BE A VIRTUAL RACE.\nNow in its 24th year\, the Vilano Bridge 5K & 10K Run\, starts at the Vilano Beach Community Center and Park and winds through the Vilano Beach community\, crossing the scenic Vilano Bridge with its sweeping views of the Intracoastal and area beaches. Our 10K run will continue to wind through our Vilano area communities. Both races finish at the North Shores Community Park for the post-race celebration with food\, beer\, music\, drawings & FUN! A family 1-Mile Fun Run will immediately follow the 5K. Come to run\, stay to play! \nYour registration will go to supporting important projects in the Vilano and North Shores communities. Once again\, half of race registration proceeds will be donated to the School for the Deaf & the Blind. \nENTRY FEES\n\nMarch 1st through March 17th: $40 (10K); $30 (5K); $10 (Fun Run)\nMarch 18th through Race Day:  $45 (10K); $35 (5K); $10 (Fun Run)

The Festival of the Chariots is also referred to as Rathayatra\, which means Chariot Festival. The Rathayatra festival first started in the ancient city of Jagannatha Puri in India to celebrate the Hindu Lord of the Universe. Bring your friends and family to celebrate and learn more about the Hindu and Indian cultures while you sing and dance! For the tour\, check in at the ranger station then head to the quarry parking area. The tour is free with park admission. This event is weather permitting and subject to cancellation. \nPark admission is $8 per vehicle (limit 8 people)\, $4 per single-occupant vehicle\, and $2 for pedestrians\, bicyclists\, and extra passengers.
