DESCRIPTION:The Pumpkins are coming! The Pumpkin Patch is opening on Saturday\, October 5. 2019. The hours of the Pumpkin Patch are Monday – Friday 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. and weekends 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. There are mini-pumpkins\, pie pumpkins and larger pumpkins of all sizes. The Pumpkin Patch supports the local outreach ministries of Shores United Methodist church. We will be selling pumpkins from October 5 to Halloween. DESCRIPTION:The Fort Mose Historical Society: African American Community of Freedom\, Inc cordially invites you to attend the 2019 annual meeting of the membership. Our guest speaker will be Dr J Michael Francis\, author and historian. Attendees will also be treated to an evening of 18th century period reenactments telling the story of Fort Mose\, the first legally sanctioned free Black settlement in what is now the United States but was at that time Spanish Florida\, interpretive dancers and a delicious meal. The event will take place on October 17\, 2019 at 6:00pm at the First Coast Technical College\, 2980 Collins Avenue\, St Augustine\, FL 32095. To RSVP select your choice of Beef or Veggie Plate or Shrimp Creole. Include $30 (which includes an annual membership in the society) per dinner or $20 for members to F.M.H.S.\, P.O.
