Dozens of community organizations and entities will be present to host activities and games (corn hole tournaments\, giant chess\, face painting\, and more) and share prevention materials. Tour our campus\, stop by our snack bar\, and enjoy live entertainment! (Music and performances TBA). \nThe event will also celebrate the opening of our Hardy Family Playground and the 5th Anniversary of our Mobile Crisis Response Team! \nThe event is completely FREE. \nBy working together as a community\, we all can play a part in promoting children’s emotional well-being and strengthening families. During the month of April and throughout the year\, St. Augustine Youth Services is dedicated to supporting families and reducing the risk of child abuse and neglect.

The show is a professionally juried art and fine craft event where each exhibitor is carefully selected with only the best work being accepted in each category. This year there are nearly 100 outstanding artisans and master craftsmen who will be exhibiting their carefully created jewelry\, photography\, sculpture\, pottery\, painting\, glass\, metal\, fiber art\, wood\, and food. \nThe person/artist you meet in the booth is the visionary behind the work. Each is available throughout the show to discuss their work\, share their stories and answer questions. This is a perfect opportunity to explore a wonderful palette of diverse artwork.

DESCRIPTION:The Art Galleries of Saint Augustine founded and sponsors the award-winning First Friday Art Walk event on the first Friday of every month. Galleries open their doors from 5-9pm\, offering new art exhibits and lively receptions to the public. Start your free self-guided tour at any of the Art Galleries of Saint Augustine galleries. Most galleries are within close walking distance to each other; some are just a short ride away. Hop aboard the free Art Walk trains and trolleys that run throughout downtown. \nFeast on great arts & eats and the sounds of live music—rain or shine! For the late-nighters\, the celebration continues with “after parties” at area clubs and restaurants. Parking locations are shown on the map. Parking after 5pm is free except at the Historic Parking Garage. \nFrom 6-9pm\, Ripley’s Red Sightseeing Trains and The Old Town Trolleys provide free transportation during the Art Walk. The shuttles run every 20-30 minutes on a continuous loop (see map)\, allowing easy access to most of the downtown member galleries.
