DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the St. Augustine Fire Department and Benevolence Foundation\, this annual chili cookoff will benefit Hoods for Heroes\, a non-profit organization that seeks to provide firefighters with new hoods that will give them much better protection against toxic particles. Santa joins the crew until he is kidnapped by those evil pirates! The kids will learn swordfighting and have their faces painted as we gear up for the big sea battle to save Santa and restore Christmas for all the children. Once saved\, all the children will get a present from Santa. Pictures are welcome so bring your camera!

This year\, they will be introducing a brand new event\, the Dickens Illuminated Procession will be a unique walking lantern parade of glowing holiday cheer.
