DESCRIPTION:The Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve is hosting a summer day camp\, Adventures in the Estuary: Forest Week\, Monday through Friday\, June 24 through 28 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The day is full of fun and educational activities for your child to learn more about the importance of the estuary\, and explore the many habitats found at the GTM Research Reserve.  \nThe camp is made up of two groups: The Gobies for kids ages 7 to 9 and the Rays for ages 10 to 12.  \nCall (904) 823-4500 or visit here for more details on the schedule and topics covered in the camp. \nAdmission to this event is $300 for the week. SUMMARY:Hands-On Summer Day Camps at Castillo and Fort Matanzas
DESCRIPTION:The National Park Service is offering four five-day sessions of a Hands-on-History and Nature Summer Day Camp at Fort Matanzas and  Castillo de San Marcos. The summer day camp sessions are geared for campers ages 9 to 11. \nThe camp activities will include presentations\, hands-on projects\, games\, and living history demonstrations. The topics covered will range from archaeology and preservation to nature\, Native Americans\, Spanish exploration\, and life in colonial Florida.
