SUMMARY:CANCELLED – Dark of the Moon Tour
DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.\nThe Dark of the Moon Ghost Tour is the only tour that gets you into the Lighthouse at night. The Lighthouse offers two options for this experience\, both of which include the option to rent EMF readers. \nGhost tour: This 1.5 to 2 hour tour includes a guided talk through the 1876 Keepers’ House and the 1874 St. Augustine Lighthouse tower. Your guide will share true tales from the history of our Light Station. Tours are offered year round on Friday\, Saturday and Sundays and more days during peak times. Purchase a combo ticket with regular daytime admission and save on this tour. Expect larger groups during peak season and holidays. \nInvestigation Only: See for yourself why we are consistently ranked as one of the most haunted sites in St. Augustine! Investigation Only tours are offered on a more limited basis than the Ghost Tour\, with fewer spaces available at each. Rent readers or bring your own equipment. \nSpace is limited! Purchase tickets online in advance to secure your spot. \nOn a Dark of the Moon Ghost Tour you not only hear spooky stories based on real history in the lighthouse at night\, you also help the Lighthouse investigate our maritime past. Ghost Tours support both maritime archaeology and historic research discoveries at the Museum. Stepping up to shiver down your spine helps save our underwater heritage!

SUMMARY:CANCELLED – Loving Beethoven Interactive Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED UNTIL THE CULTURAL CENTER REOPENS ON MARCH 30.\nIn 2020\, the world will celebrate Ludwig van Beethoven’s 250th birthday anniversary. The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach\, in partnership with MIMMA (Interactive Music Museum in Malaga\, Spain) is paying tribute to this milestone thanks to the traveling musical installation Loving Beethoven. The interactive music installation will be at the Cultural Center from March 6\, 2020 to May 26\, 2020. \nAt the end of June\, 2019\, Cultural Center Director Donna Guzzo visited the museum in Malaga\, Spain to start discussions with the MIMMA Director\, Miguel Angel Piedrola. The interactive nature of the MIMMA exhibits\, with galleries full of musical instruments where the public is encouraged to touch and try\, is one of the traits the Cultural Center is looking to replicate during the exhibit in Florida. \n“Loving Beethoven ties together the Cultural Center’s mission and the Center’s outreach program Sound Connections® Music Therapy perfectly. We are thrilled to be working with Miguel Angel Piedrola and MIMMA on our first collaborative\, international project.”\n– Executive Director Donna Guzzo
