Bring your Christmas Shopping List and browse and shop all the Market Stores! The Bookstore has paperback and hardbound books\, puzzles for all ages\, games and children’s toys. The Crafters’ Showcase will feature fine handmade products of knitting and crochet items as well as other handmade articles by local crafters. For the home\, the Christmas Shop features handmade and commercial Christmas decorations and the “This & That” Thrift Shop offers a large selection of gently used household items. As you browse\, stop by the Chili Cafe and enjoy refreshments with a bowl of hot chili with accompaniments and visit the Bakery Shop for a variety of delicious baked goods and treats. The Christmas Market will be held in the Christian Education Building on the church’s campus. There is plenty of free and accessible parking. DESCRIPTION:On the second and fourth Saturdays of each month\, the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTMNERR) hosts classes for the whole family to learn how to use seine nets to collect various fish and crab species. Visitors will get the chance to pull a seine net through Guana Lake\, collecting species of fish\, crabs and more\, and then learn about the animals and their roles in the habitat. The free event is led by a naturalist and all necessary gear is provided.
