DESCRIPTION:On the first Saturday of every month\, the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTMNERR) hosts a Guided Exploration Hike\, where guests can learn about the cultural history of the Guana Peninsula\, as well as the natural biodiversity of the Reserve. \nA GTM naturalist leads the hike and talks about the peninsula’s 5\,000 years of human history\, including how native peoples made use of the estuarine resources\, what European plantation life was like\, and current efforts to save those resources. \nThe hike is free\, but there is a $3 parking fee.

The Crafters’ Showcase will feature fine handmade products of knitting and crochet items as well as other handmade articles by local crafters. For the home\, the Christmas Shop features handmade and commercial Christmas decorations and the “This & That” Thrift Shop offers a large selection of gently used household items. As you browse\, stop by the Chili Cafe and enjoy refreshments with a bowl of hot chili with accompaniments and visit the Bakery Shop for a variety of delicious baked goods and treats. The Christmas Market will be held in the Christian Education Building on the church’s campus. There is plenty of free and accessible parking.
