She specialized in landscapes and also produced over 600 portraits\, many of historical figures. Troemel was an honored Fellow of the Royal Society of Art\, London. Her works were shown in prestigious museums across the U.S. and throughout Florida\, including the Mennello Museum of American Art\, a subsidiary of the Smithsonian\, which purchased five of her paintings in 2007. She was included in the World’s Who’s Who of Women and The Directory of American Portrait Artists.\nA champion of the arts\, Troemel founded the Winter Haven Ridge Art Association in 1950\, the PAStA Art Gallery in St. Augustine\, and served on the Florida Arts Group Board (FLAG). For lovers of local art and culture\, the First Friday Artwalk is a great way to celebrate both the start of a new month and the end of a long week. Spend your time hopping from gallery to gallery in the downtown area or jump on a complimentary shuttle and check out the galleries on the beach. \nThe monthly event takes place from 5 to 9pm\, rain or shine\, throughout historic downtown and even over the Bridge of Lions onto Anastasia Island and the beach. Galleries will put out refreshments\, artists will be on hand to talk about their work\, even musicians will fill the air with music. It’s a local delight that you don’t want to miss. \nThis creative event is sponsored by The Art Galleries of Saint Augustine\, which is an artistic association of the diverse and eclectic art galleries located in the nation’s oldest city.

DESCRIPTION:The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach\, FL is hosting sip\, taste\, talk\, and create events at the Cultural Center this summer during a monthly tasting series that is sure to be good to the last drop.\n\nOn Monday\, August 19\, 2019\, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.\, take time to taste a variety of craft beer from Jacksonville’s Intuition Ale Works. We’ve teamed up with Intuition Ale Works and the volunteers of the Cultural Center to present a program to please the senses. There will be a talk on this flavorful topic\, a host of light bites to complement the spirits\, and an interactive craft beer-inspired project to get your creative juices flowing.\n\nTickets to the event cost $35 and guests must be 21 years of age or older. Tickets can be purchased by visiting ccpvb.org.\n\nThe following exhibitions will be on view: Compromised Boundaries\, works by the Society of Mixed Media Artists; Curatorial Choice\, works by Bruce Carr\, Jeanne Hollington\, Vicky Lennon\, and Karen F.
