DESCRIPTION:On the third Thursday of every month running from March to October of 2019\, the West African Drum Circles of Saint. Augustine comes together at the St. Augustine Pier. This event provides guests with a vibrant evening of music and community. \nAll guests are encouraged to participate and play on an instrument or percussion of their choice. The group provides additional drums and handheld instruments for guests to use\, and musicians\, dancers\, and spectators are all welcome. Selections include original oils\, watercolors\, alkyds\, and mono prints representing Jean’s travels and adaptations of artistic movements. All artwork in the exhibition will be offered for sale with proceeds supporting the St. Augustine Art Association Jean Wagner Troemel Award in perpetuity. The exhibit will be on display at the St. Augustine Art Association starting July 20th\, with an Art Auction ($ reservations required) and running through August 25\, 2019. \nAbout the Artist\nBorn in Alma\, Michigan in 1921\, Jean Wagner Troemel was a versatile and prolific artist whose prized works are included in collections worldwide. She specialized in landscapes and also produced over 600 portraits\, many of historical figures. Troemel was an honored Fellow of the Royal Society of Art\, London. Her works were shown in prestigious museums across the U.S. and throughout Florida\, including the Mennello Museum of American Art\, a subsidiary of the Smithsonian\, which purchased five of her paintings in 2007. She was included in the World’s Who’s Who of Women and The Directory of American Portrait Artists.\nA champion of the arts\, Troemel founded the Winter Haven Ridge Art Association in 1950\, the PAStA Art Gallery in St. Augustine\, and served on the Florida Arts Group Board (FLAG). She spearheaded St. Augustine’s First Friday Art Walks and funded the Best in Show Award that continues to be presented monthly at the St. Augustine Art Association. Jean Wagner Troemel passed away on January 18\, 2018\, leaving behind an enduring and inspiring legacy of art. \nGALLERY HOURS: Tuesday through Saturday\, 12pm-4pm; Sunday 2pm-5pm; Closed on Mondays. DESCRIPTION:Take an extraordinary journey through the art and travels of Jean Wagner Troemel! Selections include original oils\, watercolors\, alkyds\, and mono prints representing Jean’s travels and adaptations of artistic movements. All artwork in the exhibition will be offered for sale with proceeds supporting the St. Augustine Art Association Jean Wagner Troemel Award in perpetuity. The exhibit will be on display at the St. Augustine Art Association starting July 20th\, with an Art Auction ($ reservations required) and running through August 25\, 2019. \nAbout the Artist\nBorn in Alma\, Michigan in 1921\, Jean Wagner Troemel was a versatile and prolific artist whose prized works are included in collections worldwide. She specialized in landscapes and also produced over 600 portraits\, many of historical figures. Troemel was an honored Fellow of the Royal Society of Art\, London. Her works were shown in prestigious museums across the U.S. and throughout Florida\, including the Mennello Museum of American Art\, a subsidiary of the Smithsonian\, which purchased five of her paintings in 2007. She was included in the World’s Who’s Who of Women and The Directory of American Portrait Artists.\nA champion of the arts\, Troemel founded the Winter Haven Ridge Art Association in 1950\, the PAStA Art Gallery in St. Augustine\, and served on the Florida Arts Group Board (FLAG). She spearheaded St. Augustine’s First Friday Art Walks and funded the Best in Show Award that continues to be presented monthly at the St. Augustine Art Association. DESCRIPTION:Summer Musical TheatreCamp middle school / high school crossover cast presents the musical Little Shop of Horrors. A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical\, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. \nThe meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” – after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed\, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it\, BLOOD. Over time\, though\, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination! One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows\, Little Shop Of Horrors the charmingly tongue in cheek comedy has been produced worldwide. It’s entertainment for the entire family. \nPerformances of Little Shop Of Horrors at the Lewis Auditorium\, 14 Granada St.\, St. Augustine are Friday evening\, July 26\, Saturday evening\, July 27\, at 7:30 PM and a Sunday matinee on July 28 at 2:00. \nTickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children and can be purchased on the day of the show. Box office will open one hour prior to show and house will open half an hour prior to show.

The mic will be turned off at 4:30 p.m. to allow guests to enjoy a half hour of getting to know each other.

DESCRIPTION:Take an extraordinary journey through the art and travels of Jean Wagner Troemel! Selections include original oils\, watercolors\, alkyds\, and mono prints representing Jean’s travels and adaptations of artistic movements. All artwork in the exhibition will be offered for sale with proceeds supporting the St. Augustine Art Association Jean Wagner Troemel Award in perpetuity. The exhibit will be on display at the St. Augustine Art Association starting July 20th\, with an Art Auction ($ reservations required) and running through August 25\, 2019. \nAbout the Artist\nBorn in Alma\, Michigan in 1921\, Jean Wagner Troemel was a versatile and prolific artist whose prized works are included in collections worldwide. She specialized in landscapes and also produced over 600 portraits\, many of historical figures. Troemel was an honored Fellow of the Royal Society of Art\, London. Her works were shown in prestigious museums across the U.S. and throughout Florida\, including the Mennello Museum of American Art\, a subsidiary of the Smithsonian\, which purchased five of her paintings in 2007. She was included in the World’s Who’s Who of Women and The Directory of American Portrait Artists.\nA champion of the arts\, Troemel founded the Winter Haven Ridge Art Association in 1950\, the PAStA Art Gallery in St. Augustine\, and served on the Florida Arts Group Board (FLAG). She spearheaded St. Augustine’s First Friday Art Walks and funded the Best in Show Award that continues to be presented monthly at the St. Augustine Art Association. Jean Wagner Troemel passed away on January 18\, 2018\, leaving behind an enduring and inspiring legacy of art. \nGALLERY HOURS: Tuesday through Saturday\, 12pm-4pm; Sunday 2pm-5pm; Closed on Mondays.
