SUMMARY:Ancient City Game Fish Association Challenge Tournaments
DESCRIPTION:The Ancient City Challenge Tournaments is a four-day tournament and celebration of fishing in the Ancient City. Our beloved\, not-for-profit and locally produced fishing tournament has nearly two decades of history in St. Johns County and is a tournament that celebrates family fun\, our waterways and our community.  Most proceeds from the event go to support local charities and to our offshore restoration efforts including the upkeep of our 40-acre artificial reefs which include Andy King Reef\, Honest Jim Blalock Reef\, and our “Eternal Reef” which is dedicated to the placement of reef balls that provides the opportunity for families to place the ashes of loved ones as a final resting place. \nFor the third year\, as part of our conservation efforts\, we are encouraging live release of all redfish after weigh-in. The Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) will be on site to assist with proper release\, questions and techniques. \nThis tournament would not be possible without the help of our many volunteers and sponsors. We hope that you enjoy the weekend\, thank the volunteers for their efforts\, and support our sponsors when you can. \nJoin the Ancient City Game Fish Association for one of the Premier Fishing Tournaments in Northeast Florida. Thursday is Kids Night\, Friday is the Junior Angler Tournament\, and Friday & Saturday is Kingfish Offshore Visual Checkout. The weekend also includes live music\, food\, raffles\, and more. Junior Challenge is $25\, KingFish Challenge is $295\, and Backwater/Kayak challenge is $75. Ancient city Game Fish Association takes place at Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor.

SUMMARY:Ancient City Beach Yoga
DESCRIPTION:“Whatever you do in life\, yoga shows you how to do it better.” – Chuck Miller. Come and join us beside the ocean for a gentle relaxing flow for an all-ages\, all-level class on the beach in front of the beautiful Guy Harvey Resort in St. Augustine Beach\, FL. Open to everyone\, from first time yogi’s to the advanced practitioner. We offer a great affordable donation-based class to our local community and visitors a like. \nBring your friends\, meet new people\, or round out a wonderful vacation. Maybe even wear your swimsuit and take a dip after class and have lunch or coffee at the resort in Santiago’s Florida Kitchen! We recommend you bring a large beach towel\, blanket\, or mat (I bring some blankets if you don’t have one) as well as water\, sunglasses or a hat and sunscreen…Lets join together to experience something truly wonderful by improving ourselves through movement\, breathwork\, and meditation. \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION\nIn order to be compliant with Phase II of COVID social distancing\, classes for now will be limited to 8 people so you must sign up on the Meetup Group page to hold a spot. The sign up for Meetup is free. It just helps me keep a count of how many are coming so we can stay compliant. If you plan on not coming can you please cancel on the Meetup group so that others can take the spot if you can not make it. You must bring your own blanket or beach towel. We will keep with this plan until we move to the next phase. I am so excited to finally be able to meet again! \nAll classes are weather permitting\, so make sure to check class event at least one hour before event time.
