DESCRIPTION:Calling amateur bird lovers and birding experts alike! Led by a park volunteer and naturalist\, the walk leads guests along the beaches\, boardwalk\, and nature trails of the state park. Anastasia Park boasts a diverse variety of shore birds\, marsh birds\, and hammock birds\, as well as migratory birds in the winter months that cannot be seen any other time of the year. Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather and bring binoculars\, water\, and walking shoes. The walk will meet at the Island Beach Shop & Grill Pavilion. \nThe walk is free with park admission. This event is weather permitting and subject to cancellation.

DESCRIPTION:The annual Pellicer Creek Raid gives visitors a unique view into military life in 1864. Taking place over two days\, the historic demonstrations will include Civil War battle reenactments and military parades\, as well as an authentic re-creation of a Civil War encampment. Reenactors will tell stories of the lives of soldiers in Florida as visitors wander through the encampment re-creation. Vendors in period dress will be selling historical clothing\, baked goods\, and lots more. There will also be a Ladies’ Tea formal ball as well as a new gift shop. \nTickets are $5. DESCRIPTION:Music lovers and collectors are invited to The Amp to shop thousands of music related items including new and used vinyl records\, CDs\, cassettes\, posters\, turntable equipment and supplies\, memorabilia\, collectibles and more. \nThis year\, over 30 music vendors from across the Southeast United States will be on site\, offering shoppers the chance to choose from nearly every type of musical genre to grow their collection. \nThe St. Johns County Public Library’s bookmobile will also be on site and DJ sets by DJ Papi Disco will take place throughout the day. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from several on-site food trucks as well as The Amp Concessions. The day will also involve fun activities for the entire family like a library craft\, corn hole and the return of the popular “DJ 101 Session for Kids.” Hosted by DJ Dorian Lopez\, the “DJ 101 Session” is a 30-minute tutorial on how to DJ. After the tutorial\, this hands-on event will provide the opportunity for kids of all ages to test their newfound DJ skills on a real DJ setup! Stop by the DJ booth early in the day to register for this unique chance to practice on the wheels of steel! \nToneVendor is a full brick and mortar record store in St. Augustine\, Florida and has been operating as an online mail-order company since 1996.
