About The Sanchez Suites Guest House

‘The house is so cool!’ The wood ceilings and the tile floor throughout the modern design and flow draw you in. You’ll then notice the artisan furniture from Sticks, Shoestring Creations, by David Marsh, and how well they go with the MacKenzie Child’s decor and the local artwork. Just when you think are staying in an art gallery with open walls that fall short of reaching the ceiling, you notice the 65″ TV and the Stressless Couch, the screened-in porch, and the fabulous studio king plus ensuite.

The Space

Artsy, funky, and functional are a few of the words that describe the way Wendy decorates. It’s like the house is her canvas and she finds just the right furniture, the right artwork, and adds so much color that somehow it all goes together. David adds his touch with 3 top of the line TVs, the swing out front on the amazing tree, and the Smarthome devices. You’ll love the porch with Telescope furniture and discover the 2nd bedroom, the studio with a Purple King bed and a new bath, and RH Twin-Over-Full Adult Bunk Beds.

The Location

Sanchez Suites is in a great location in Uptown, right next door to a soon-to-be-opened co-working space, a short walk to the famed Ponce de Leon, Fountain of Youth, the Old Jail, and Ripleys or you can hop on the trolley across the street to experience some of St Augustine’s best restaurants and shopping less than 5 minutes away.  Need more space? The ArtHouse is behind Sanchez Suites and can accommodate another six people.

St. Augustine, FL

St. Augustine’s rich heritage makes the city and its surroundings a unique getaway for visitors. Founded in September 1565 by Don Pedro Menendez de Aviles of Spain, St. Augustine is the longest continually inhabited European-founded city in the United States – more commonly called the “Nation’s Oldest City.” Visit St. Augustine and dive into more than four centuries of history that owes much to the Spanish and English, to Greeks and Native Americans, and African Americans. Stroll the narrow lanes, enter the many museums, and visit landmarks such as Castillo de San Marcos, Ponce de Leon’s “Fountain of Youth,” and the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse. St. Augustine – a place for history buffs and everyone else.
